Issue

The ThanosRuleRuleEvaluationLatencyHigh alert triggers when Thanos Ruler misses rule evaluations due to slow rule group processing.
This alert triggers only for user-defined recording and alerting rules. Impact is that alerts will take longer time to get delivered, still they are submitted.

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 [RHOCP]
  • User Defined Monitoring.
