[RHOCP 4] DNS Local Preference is not working for TCP requests with OpenShift SDN CNI

Issue

  • TCP DNS requests are not resolved by Local DNS endpoint, intermittently requests are sent to other DNS endpoints
  • Is it possible to resolve DNS queries using the local DNS endpoint for TCP?
  • UDP DNS requests are resolved by Local DNS endpoint, whereas for TCP random DNS endpoints are selected.
