In Debezium mongodb connector retriable operations are retried infinitely

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

We are using Debezium Mongodb connectors, but we discovered that if there are retriable errors like wrong passwords or insufficient privileges, the connectors will be retried indefinitely and the connections between Debezium and mongodb keeps going up.

The connectors does not honor the connect-max-attempts, while we expect the connector will stop trying after #connect-max-attempts times.
