Why does preupg command fails with error "No modules found in the default directory /usr/share/preupgrade"?

Issue

  • Getting following error after executing the preupg command.
    # preupg
      No modules found in the default directory (/usr/share/preupgrade).
      Either install a package with modules or use -c option for custom created modules.
