GitopsCluster CR fails with "secret not found" error

Issue

  • We are using ACM and GitOps, trying to integrate between them we get an error showing on the GitOpsCluster resource showing the required secret is missing

  • Registering managed clusters to GitOps is failing with secret not found:

    status:
lastUpdateTime: "2023-06-06T22:51:18Z"
message: secrets "<managedcluster>-cluster-secret" not found
phase: failed

Environment

  • Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes 2.7
  • GitOps Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP)
  • Single-node OpenShift cluster (SNO)
