Why is the http timeout affecting Websocket connections in Apache HTTPD ?
Issue
- The http/proxy session timeout seems to cause a closure of WebSocket connections.
- We have a virtual host with this configuration: ProxyPass "/wss/" "ws://localhost:8089/. On RHEL 7 and Apache 2.4.6 it works fine. After migration to RHEL 9 and Apache 2.4.62 the socket closes in 60 seconds.
