Observed slowness with all commands including rpm -q or yum

Issue

  • Many commands are slow on the server, even on running yum update, it is taking around 5-7 mins to complete the execution even there is no packages to update.

  • We can't see any CPU overloaded

  • Lot of free memory or swap:

                  total        used        free      shared  buff/cache   available
