insights-client command is failing with 502 Bad Gateway error on clients registered to Satellite 6.12.0

Issue

  • When running any insights-client command on client system registered to satellite 6.12.0, it fails with below error

    HTTP Status: 502 Bad Gateway
HTTP Response Text: {"message":"Authentication to the Insights Service failed.","headers":{}}
Connection failed

  • Even subscription-manager logs report the error "502 Bad Gateway"
