ftp: connect: No route to host

Issue

  • Getting below mentioned error while running "ls" command.
ftp> ls
227 Entering Passive Mode (10,250,34,35,179,155).
ftp: connect: No route to host
  • This issue persists on RHEL8 only. ( while connecting from RHEL7 to RHEL 8 )
  • No ftp connection issues reported while connecting from RHEL8 to RHEL7.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7, 8, 9
  • vsftpd
  • firewalld
