Why am I getting "port 22: No Route to Host" error when attempting to run Job Templates on AAP?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • The default subnet used in Ansible Automation Platform 2 containers conflicts with the internal network resulting in port 22: No route to host ssh: connect to host errors.
  • AAP execution environments fail to connect to target hosts.
  • The underlying nodes can be pinged and SSH connections established manually, indicating reachability to the target nodes trough the terminal.

Environment

  • Ansible Automation Platform 2.6
