Is there a way to limit the fragmentation in Fluentd (collector) ?

Issue

• In the configuration fluentd -> FW -> syslog server -> splunk, is there a way to limit the fragmentation in Fluentd (collector) which is causing the firewall fragmentation queue to fill up rapidly resulting in the firewall dropping valid traffic
