Pacemaker cluster`s runtime cluster name remains unchanged even after modifying `cluster_name` parameter in corosync.conf

Issue

  • Pacemaker is not able to connect to qdevice after changing the cluster name.
  • New cluster name is not reflected at runtime even after renaming the cluster in /etc/corosync/corosync.conf.
  • Below message from corosync is observed in /var/log/messages:

    corosync:  [CFG   ] Modified entry 'totem.cluster_name' in corosync.conf cannot be changed at run-time
