Environment

  • Ansible Automation Platform >= 2.x

  • Automation Service catalog deployed via AAP installer

Issue

  • Need clarifications on the Survery properties for the specific Product in on-prem Service Catalog

Resolution

  • Substitution was a feature in the cloud version, it has not been ported to the on-premise version. Hence, it won't be able to use the substitution feature in on-prem catalog.

  • For the information, Placeholder provides a grayed out value when the user hasn't entered a value. It basically suggests a value for the user to use.

    Disabled and Read only : Prevents the user for making changes
Hidden: the survey question will be hidden 
Substitution: enables the disabled option
