Cannot find VM by UUID error preventing RHOCP version 4.10.45 upgrade

Issue

  • When trying to upgrade RHOCP 4.10.45 to the next stable version, the below error is preventing the cluster upgrade:

    This cluster should not be updated to the next minor version.
Cluster operator storage should not be upgraded between minor versions: VSphereCSIDriverOperatorCRUpgradeable:   VMwareVSphereControllerUpgradeable: unable to find VM by UUID 42296f7e0459-5452-xxxx-dxxxxxxxxx8`
