New worker node fails to join the OpenShift cluster 4.x

Issue

• New worker node does not get added to the cluster.
• There are no new CSRs generated when trying to add a new node in the cluster.
• nodeip-configuration.service fails to start with the below error.

Dec 18 14:24:29 worker4.example.com systemd[1] nodeip-configuration.service: Failed with result 'signal'.
Dec 18 14:24:29 worker4.example.com systemd[1] Failed to start Writes IP address configuration so that kubelet and crio services select a valid node IP.
Dec 18 14:24:29 worker4.example.com systemd[1] Dependency failed for Kubernetes Kubelet.
