Why 'ip link set' command worked differently between RHEL 7.4 and RHEL 7.9?
Issue
- When using
ip link set downon RHEL 7.4, default G/W has removed and it's not added again whenip link set up. - When using
ip link set downon RHEL 7.9, default G/W has removed and it's added again whenip link set up.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4
