ebtables --802_3-type rule random packet drop
Issue
- Only occurs with RHEL8 kernels.
- Message loss occurs in a bridge which contains a virtio LAN interface and a vxlan over an i40e interface
- A specific 802_3-type ebtables rule is dropping the packets
- Message loss is seen by pinging an external VM which must pass through an intermediate VM via the L2 network.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
- ebtables (nft compatible version)
