When setting up a NIS server only see UID and GID higher than 500 are visable

Issue

  • NIS mapping isn't populating with users with UID or GID > 500
  • NIS group map is not reflecting the entries in the ASCII map file

Environment

  • All versions  of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
