Issue

  • The firewall-cmd command failed with the following error
ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on :1.25757:/org/fedoraproject/FirewallD1: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
  • The following errors were output into /var/log/messages.
dbus-daemon[XXX]: [system] Failed to activate service 'org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1': timed out (service_start_timeout=25000ms)
dbus-daemon[XXX]: [system] Rejected send message, 0 matched rules; type="error", sender=":1.25757" (uid=0 pid=5001 comm="/usr/libexec/platform-python -s /usr/sbin/firewall" label="kernel") interface="(unset)" member="(unset)" error name="org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" requested_reply="0" destination=":1.26294" (uid=0 pid=6001 comm="/usr/libexec/platform-python -s /usr/bin/firewall-" label="kernel")
