dasbus.error.DBusError@: Specified keymap cannot be compiled

Issue

Installing RHEL9 via a kickstart, anaconda crashes with traceback and the error "dasbus.error.DBusError@: Specified keymap cannot be compiled".
Kickstart configuration worked fine on previous RHEL versions.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9.0
