Issue

This issue occurs when trying to run subscription-manager list command to show what subscriptions are available specifically to the system. The outputs are the following:

  • Command subscription-manager list fails with Unable to find Subscription Manager module. Error: No module named version
# subscription-manager list

Error: No module named version
  • The RHSM log is reporting the following:
# tail /var/log/rhsm/rhsm.log

  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/subscription_manager/utils.py", line 43, in <module>
    import rhsm.version
ImportError: No module named version
