  • When I try to create a new shared volume group, the following message appears:

    # vgcreate --shared clustervg /dev/sdx
      Using a shared lock type requires lvmlockd (lvm.conf use_lvmlockd)
      Run 'vgcreate --help' for more information.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 8, 9 (RHEL)with the High Availability or Resilient Storage Add-Ons
  • pacemaker cluster
  • lvm2-2.03.14-3.el8 or later
