PHP rpm update problem

Issue

  • Is it possible to update all the packages of RHEL 5.6 with RHEL 6.

           o  Copied 'Packages' directory from RHEL 6 DVD

           o  Getting below error while upgrading php-5.1 of RHEL5 to php-5.3 of RHEL6

# rpm --nodeps -Uvh  php<version> 
php: Header V3 RSA/SHA 256 signature NOKEY, KEY ID



#rpm --nodeps --nosignature -Uvh  php<version> 
"error : unpacking of archive failed: cpio : Bad magic"
  • For RHEL 6  32 bit Server OS installation , what is minimum desktop system requirements
