Controlling / Running a Single instance of MDB for an Application.

Issue

We have an EJB2 application. It is packaged as a war and an Embedded EJB2 Jar. The EJB2 jar contains an EJB2 Stateless Session Bean and an EJB2 Message Driven Bean.

Due to some constraints in the application we need to restrict the MDB  being run for this specific application to Single instance only (Singleton behavior).
