  • GFS2 filesystem appears to hang but is very slow when running commands like ls -lor ls --color on a GFS2 filesystem that is being accessed by Informatica.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5, 6, or 7 with the Resilient Storage Add-On
  • Performance degrades with 3 or more nodes.
  • Informatica application and cache directory is configured on GFS2 shared filesystem.
