Issue

  • An error occurs when using vgcreate. but vgcreate return code is 0. For example:

     [root@testvm ~]# vgcreate --shared share_vg /dev/mapper/mpathad
     Enabling sanlock global lock
     Logical volume "lvmlock" created.
     Volume group "share_vg" successfully created
     VG share_vg starting sanlock lockspace
     Starting locking.  Waiting until locks are ready...
     [root@testvm ~]# vgs -v share_vg
     VG       Attr   Ext   #PV #LV #SN VSize   VFree   VG UUID                                VProfile
     share_vg wz--ns 4.00m   1   0   0 496.00m 240.00m 6ImBJs-vpn6-QJEd-qz4O-8fZd-tPQ7-U9Jdo6
