Performance Issue with ASYNCIO in AMQ 7

Issue

I am seeing a periodic loss in performance in my AMQ broker running ASYNCIO journal type. Accompanying this performance issue, I see messages like this one in the log:

2022-03-02 08:08:13,961 WARN  [org.apache.activemq.artemis.journal] File activemq-data-7040703.amq still has pending IO before closing it

Is there a configuration fix, patch, or workaround for this issue?
