How to resolve error AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute '_ACTION_SETUP' while upgrading Ansible Tower ?

Issue

  • While upgrading the Ansible Tower 3.7.5 to 3.8.5. and using ansible 2.9.15 or prior the below error occurs.

    TASK [packages_el : Remove rabbitmq config directory (i.e. certs, config, etc.)] 

An exception occurred during task execution. To see the full traceback, use -vvv. The error was: AttributeError: 
'module' object has no attribute
'_ACTION_SETUP'

  • Ansible Tower >= 3.8
