After installing RHBA-2013:1132, the system no longer has any tty's in RHEL 6

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • After installing RHBA-2013:1132 the system no longer has any tty's.
  • The upstart package received a modification, but this modification did not come as a dependency of RHBA-2013:1132 (or the updated RHBA-2013:1679-1)
  • Should we just add the missing rpm to our system to fix this? Why did it not come as dependency of RHBA-2013:1132?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
  • initscripts 9.03.32-1
  • upstart 0.6.5-11
