Archived clusters are present in the list under the 'OpenShift Cluster ID' field

Solution Verified - Updated -

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Cluster Manager
  • Portal Case Management

Issue

  • When creating a new support case from OCM, archived clusters are still showing in the list under the 'OpenShift Cluster ID' field.
  • Display name that is set in OCM, is not matching the ones displayed in the drop-down list next to respective Cluster ID.

Resolution

The UI has been developed to limit the amount of options that appear in the 'OpenShift Cluster ID' drop-down list.

NOTE: 'Archived' clusters will still remain searchable as completely excluding clusters with 'Archived' status will cause issues in those scenarios where customers want to open cases for archived clusters.

Regarding the cluster 'display name' mismatch issue, we have an internal ticket which is currently being worked upon by respective team.
Once completed, it will show the updated display names in the drop-down list, as set in OpenShift Cluster Manager.
