RHEL6 Server Crashes During Backups

Issue

• We have a RHEL 6.3 server that is crashing during the time it is performing its nightly backups.
• The following errors were observed in dmesg output while the issue is occurring:

INFO: task dsmc:1094 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
"echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this message.
