Why does the `needs-restarting` script shows processes in its output even after rebooting?
Issue
- Updated the system by running the following command.
# yum update -y
- Then ran the
needs-restarting
script which is shipped byyum-utils
package, it showed some processes, so rebooted the machine. - Even after reboot, the
needs-restarting
script shows few processes in its output, whereas those shouldn't be there ideally. Why those processes are shown in the output?
