High latency in SSL handshakes with Apache httpd
Issue
- We're doing some load testing on Apache httpd with https traffic. Performance isn't as desired and it looks like the bulk of the time for these requests is from latency in SSL handshakes. How can this be improved?
- We're testing httpd and it is slow when going over ssl.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- JBoss Enterprise Web Server (EWS)
- Apache httpd
