Issue

  • Below ACAPI error was noticed after upgrading to 8.5 during booting time.
ACAPI Error could not resolve symbol [\_PR.CPU0.CPC], AE_NOT_FOUND (20210105/psargs-330) integrity: problem loading x.509 certificate -65

Resolution

  • This issue is currently being investigated under private bugzilla 1982319.
  • The error can be ignored as it is seen during boot time.
  • The workaround is to switch back to the latest 8.4

Root Cause

  • The issue occurs during the boot time on a system upgraded to RHEL 8.5
