"An error occurred, please review your CC details or try later" error when using Braintree

Issue

  • Some developers see the generic error "An error occurred, please review your CC details or try later." when adding the CC details to 3scale configured with Braintree. The list of verification attempts in Braintree doesn't show any failed attempts. Why 3scale is displaying this error?
