Is it possible to make pool multi-path failover faster?

In short, it is not possible in the operating system to decrease the failover time.
The driver for your hardware determines when a path is no longer available. Pool waits until it receives a SCSI error from the driver (request failed) and then immediately switches to the secondary path. In order to find out how to decrease this you should contact the driver manufacturer.
