Server is displaying mount error " /dev/cciss/c0d0p1 already mounted" or busy during boot
Issue
- Server reboot receives the following errors:
mount: /dev/cciss/c0d0p1 already mounted
mount: /dev/cciss/c0d1p1 already mounted
mount: /dev/cciss/c0d1p2 already mounted
- Execute fsck.ext3 to partitions without success. Getting below messages when try to run fsck.ext3 command:
fsck.ext3 /dev/cciss/c0d0p1
e2fsck 1.39 (29-May-2006)
fsck.ext3: Device or resource busy while trying to open /dev/cciss/c0d0p1
Filesystem mounted or opened exclusively by another program?
