Why brick report its port as "N/A" in the output of 'gluster volume status' command in Red Hat Gluster Storage ?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Brick status invalid in RHEV-M UI

  • Running the gluster volume status command, a brick reports its port as N/A, but the volume otherwise seems operational.

[root@rhs3 ~]# gluster volume status test-vol
Brick x.x.x.x:/data1/testvol N/A Y 27927
Brick x.x.x.x:/data1/testvol 49182 Y 21651

Environment

  • Red Hat Gluster Storage 2.1
