Procedure to add new firewall/Iptables rules in OSP-16.1 undercloud

Issue

• We have two OSP-16.1 setup and prodution is running on it. But we are facing issue while using backup. We have a master server of netbackup and undercloud is client. But when we trying to connect from backup master to client nodes (undercloud) port are not able to telnet. But from client to backup connectivity is working fine. As we have checked there are iptables rules which is blocking the connectivity.

• Please share us procedure to add new rules in undercloud to allow backup ports for communication.

• We have added some rules manually in iptables config on undercloud with this connectivity is working. But after reboot/stack update rules are flushing out automatically.

• So Please share us any procedure to add same rule permanently.
