Issue

  • What is the maximum number of compute nodes in OSD, ROSA or ARO clusters?
  • It's not possible to scale to more than 180 compute nodes in ROSA (Classic) or OSD.
  • It's not possible to scale to more than 60 compute nodes in ARO.

In ROSA, the maximum number of compute nodes is 180 as shown in the "Compute" section of the Service Definition.

In OSD, the limit is also 180 compute nodes for both AWS and GCP clusters.

In ARO, the limit is 60 compute nodes as shown in the ARO FAQ.
