Federated storage is not writable error in RH-SSO

Issue

  • We are using RH-SSO with Windows Active Directory as an LDAP provider.The LDAP provider "Edit Mode" is set to READONLY. We observe that the users are synced successfully but the user login is not working. In the logs we see the below mentioned exception:
[0m•[33m12:38:00,861 WARN  [org.keycloak.services] (default task-16) KC-SERVICES0013: Failed authentication: org.keycloak.storage.ReadOnlyException: Federated storage is not writable
