CUPS seems to crash and needs to be restarted manually in RHEL 8
Issue
In the morning "systemctl status cups" shows CUPS is down. This happens fairly consistently. The journal contains the entries:
Sep 13 15:45:34 systemd[1]: cups.service: Start request repeated too quickly.
Sep 13 15:45:34 systemd[1]: cups.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'.
Sep 13 15:45:34 systemd[1]: Failed to start CUPS Scheduler.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 2.2.6
