Solution In Progress - Updated -

Environment

  • RHEL8.3
  • Bare Metal

Issue

  • RHEL bootable USB cannot be installed at the "Installation Summary" step, showing "Connect to Red Hat" massage.

Resolution

Create installable RHEL USB again with DD image mode.

Root Cause

Some bootable USB made for RHEL installation fails. It is because the bootable USB was made in ISO image mode or similar one. Some applications provide different modes when creating bootable USB from ISO files. You can use 'Write in DD image mode' or similar one to avoid the issue.
