Not able to approve CSR's after cluster upgrade RHOCP 4

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • After upgrading the cluster from one minor version to another minor version for example OCP 4.5.18 to 4.6.9, `CSRs are stuck in a pending state and not getting approved.
  • Unable to approve CSRs that are created while adding new nodes to the cluster.

  • CSR approval is failing with the following error message

    No resources found
no kind of "CertificateSigningRequest" is registered for version "certificates.k8s.io/v1" in scheme "k8s.io/kubectl/pkg/scheme/scheme.go:28"
