"mount /dev/cdrom" command returns "No medium found" error

Issue

"mount /dev/cdrom" command returns "No medium found" error.

[root@localhost]# mount -v /dev/cdrom /media
mount: you didn't specify a filesystem type for /dev/cdrom
       I will try type iso9660
mount: No medium found

With Windows system, the same media works fine. In addition, the command itself used to work fine on the system before.
