Is it safe to run LVM commands in a container?
Issue
- LVM metadata changes unexpectedly.
- LVs disappear after seemingly unrelated operations.
- LV tags get deleted unexpectedly.
- LVs are active, but they don't appear as such in the output of lvs and the corresponding symbolic links do not exist (e.g.
/dev/mapper/vg_name-lv_nameor/dev/vg_name/lv_name).

- Containers shipping a separate LVM library
