Loss of network connectivity with ixgbe driver on mode 4 bonding
Issue
Using the ixgbe driver on two interfaces bonded mode 4, on kernel level 2.6.18-238.12.1.el5 network connectivity is lost shortly after bootup. Interfaces show as connected but are not functioning - Connectivity is lost until a reboot. Previous kernel level, 2.6.18-238.9.1.el5 does not exhibit the problem.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6
- Kernel 2.6.18-238.12.1.el5
- ixgbe interfaces bonded with mode 4
