No repositories available on a registered RHEL system with a subscription attached

Issue

  • After registering a RHEL 8.3 system and attaching the 60 Day Evaluation of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Self-Support (100 Managed Nodes) subscription, no repositories are available on a registered RHEL 8.x system with a subscription attached:

    # subscription-manager repos --enable ansible-2.9-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms
    This system has no repositories available through subscriptions.
    
    # yum -C repolist
    Loaded plugins: builddep, changelog, config-manager, copr, debug, debuginfo-install, download, generate_completion_cache, needs-restarting, playground, product-id, repoclosure, repodiff, repograph, repomanage, reposync, subscription-manager, susemanager, uploadprofile
