Issue

  • When trying to install\renew custom SSL certificates on Red Hat Satellite server, The satellite-installer command fails with following error.

    SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=error: certificate verify failed (path length constraint exceeded)
/opt/puppetlabs/puppet/lib/ruby/2.5.0/net/protocol.rb:44:in `connect_nonblock'
/opt/puppetlabs/puppet/lib/ruby/2.5.0/net/protocol.rb:44:in `ssl_socket_connect'
