How do I configure the log verbosity of the Xorg server?
Issue
- User wants to increase the verbosity, for debugging purposes.
- User wants to reduce the verbosity because the log file grows indefinitely, causing the system to run out of disk space.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6, 7, 8
- GNOME Display Manager (gdm)
- X11 display server (Xorg)
